I posted this in the BS forum, but have not received a response.

Does RSS Magician have a better included dictionary/thesaurus than BlogSolutions's included "Sample Dictionary.csd"?

Here is a very complete and free thesaurus.

http://www.dcs.shef.ac.uk/research/ilash/Moby/mthes.html

BTW, it'll need to be modified to work with rssm.

Hi docbot, what is the best/simplest way to modify the Moby thesaurus to work with rssM? Thanks!

Not sure, but I think rssM thesarus requires a special character between the first word (a vertical bar IIRC) and the sysnonyms. Just open the rssm sample thesaurus, you'll see what I mean.

Moby thesaurus just uses a comma - the same character that separates the rest of the synonyms and the first word on each line is the main word.

Both are text based formats so you can probably make the change with a good editor with macro capability. Given the size of moby you probably would not want to do it manually unless you are blessed with monomaniacal concentration abilities for hours at a time.

Sounds like a quick find and replace is all that is needed.

Nice one!

Nope, the one included in rssm doesn't have that many words in it, the one in TCS is much better. Omar can you please make a good dictionary source for synonym replacement for rssm? Or if we have to modify it ourselves, how do we do it? Right now if I use substitute word feature, it doesn't even replace a single word in the whole article.

i manage to compound the 30000 keyword manually in the moby.with the |

however i notice the rss magician only allow less than 4 mb of data after alot of data testing on it on my server or else error will come out.Mobi is over 20 mb .After i spent a few more days i finally make a perfect solution to make it unite with the rss magician. It woke perfectly and perfectly with nice writen words.

What is the error that comes out? I don't think is rssm that limits the amount of data. As i know is due to the server settings and that limit is usually 2Mb or less

If is ending with internal error (500) you can check the error log and know for sure what is the reason, should be shown tehre. If is server timeout, is because server settings.

We don't have a better dictionary now, but will surely give to all if we get one.
