Hi there!

Just downloaded rssE today. I'm having a play around with Project 1, which comes with the download, to get to know the system before I do it for real.

However, in the last step, when I click "generate", each time the system tries to extract a feed for each keyword, I get "Could not extract feed 'http://www.findarticles...". This happens for each keyword. Then at the end I get "No Result".

Any idea what could be happening. Could it be the fact that I'm on dial-up? (Can't get anything else where I live just yet!!!)

Regards

Check if you have any firewall (including vista build in firewall if u are on vista) that can prevent rsse from acces sthe internet and retrive data from feeds. If you just play with one of buildin projects, they are generally working, so an issue probably have local reasons.

Thanks for your very quick response Omar!

No, I don't have anything preventing these feeds being pulled in. What else could it be?

And on another note; how do I "preview" a generated site before publishing?

Thanks again

Send me the .rts file of that project so i can try myself, as can't check that from your computer.

The sites can be previewed just by open the files locally, from your computer, before upload.

Omar -

I've sorted it. I was playing around with one feed only and it just couldn't find anything.

When I went to more than one then it worked perfectly!

Thanks for your help.
