I've looked all over for this answer but can't find it...I only have a Mac computer and would like to buy StoreStacker...are the two compatible?

This thread is not about Storestacker, but yes. You can use SS with a mac because S is a php script, it gets installed on your domain/host and all you need beside that is a browser.
