Hmm.. interesting ideeas.. though i am not sure i want to stir anything.. i just onder why 1000+ people registered if they had nothing to say.. ONly about 100 where active..
what happens Omar, is people have registered when they were either thinking of buying or just bought one of Half Again's Software Products. They use it, find something better and move on.
Sometimes , they get it and spend their time marketing or building sites and have no need to post here. Then there are the macro or paradigm shifts which occur.
The largest to hit your software products have been the following in the past two years:
1. Free Word Press Blogs with automated installs on so many Fantastico and C-Panel Interfaces.
2. There is no need to create dedicated servers with BS3. Social Bookmarking has taken over for "follow" backlinking.
3. Most people have no idea how to create templates of education in web design, css, php, ect. They want it all done for them with automated push button technologies and services.
4.They want it for free (Number 3).
5. People with their own fears and hesitations still have no idea about content creation.
6. Alot of people still have no idea about search engine optimization.
7. Most will try your software, fail and move on. Posting has very little to do with it. Creating blog farms isn't even necessary anymore. Especially since in 2007 Google brought in LSI. They promote sites with random chaos.Meaning a more human factor through analyzing pure seo errors than anything else.
Until people understand how SE's work, they fail from the start, building "perfect" blog farms. Google analyzes the design and bans them. People than are to embarrassed to post here, after making these mistakes. And are most likely too busy to learn the fundamentals of seo.
So they just move on to something else, or wait to hear some other message blowing in the wind. For myself, I have stuck to seo and I use other automated methods which give me sufficient backlinks to optimize under most keyword markets. And I use automated software to research around 3,000 keyword markets each day. I discover around 500 new markets out of this each day.
8. There are just so many places to post on blogs, all with C-Class IPs and great PR, that is has not been necessary to create any blog farms. Then there is the issue of content generation. Last year, I discovered a much more simplified approach and one where I was able to create perfect articles.
Even though your content generator software will do the same, mine only requires 3 tags or characters to use. It works much faster, and I only paid for it once.
Then there is rss evolution. This is a great website builder. But again, people want to be able to use the power of blogs. WP is an instant install, has more easy to use plug-ins and is free. People want sites they can have visitors comment on. Of course both can be part of the same solution. But the reasons people donot post come down to four points:
1. I don't need any help or anymore help.
2. I'm not using this software anymore and have found something better for various reasons.
3. I do not have the technical knowledge and confidence to pull this off myself.
4. I don't want anyone to know I use this software for various reasons.
I hope this thread has given you some ideas about what people do not post. They are all reasonable reasons and have very little to do with your current forum.
But it was a nice link baiting and content generation post here to create some interest perhaps.
From my stand point Omar, all I ever needed was one CMS Platform, some very good keyword and seo research data, and I always know what I have to do to build content and backlinks and where to build them.
