I'm hoping others got the info via Email from Scottt, for Videostacker. I've installed and created the first gadget on one of my sites. Is anyone else having trouble? It doesn't work. The "links" to open the video full scale, do not work. And the bottom link to "VideoStacker" goes to www.com. But I don't see any way of changing that, as it's part of the generated JS file.

Any feedback?

Thanks,
Leanne

As you noticed if you went to my sample, the gadget is halfway down the page. I just scrolled to the top of my page, and the YouTube video DID pop up. It's at the very top of the page. It SHOULD pop up right next to the gadget!!!

And if there IS a "close button" to close the video, it must be at the top of the gadget. You can see, on the left side of the video popup, a dark part that extends upwards from the topmost margin. I see NO WAY for the user to close this popup.... except refreshing the page.

My suggestion is to code this thing so that the video pops up right next to the gadget, not at the page top. I scrolled up to look at something else, and here is the video. Many users, upon not being able to see anything happen, will simply click out of the site. And if they do scroll back to the top, the inability to close the video will further frustrate them.

Hey guys, cool tool. Please fix.

Well.. on most sites, everything works fine. On your site though, it seems to conflict with some other widget or javascript you are using.

You have a javascript right in the header,
self.moveTo(0,0)
self.resizeTo(screen.availWidth,screen.availHeight)

Since is in header, I think that overwrite VS behavior and move the window to top, also affecting closing button. Is just a guess based on hoe much JS i know.. will show to a programmer and see if can do something.
