Is the 1 ip 1 domain name just a myth or fact with the search engines?

I have found that I have no problems getting sites indexed that are shared on the same ip with 100 or so other names.

Well.. myths are also based on facts generally. There is some kind of truth in any myth. I'd say it is same about IP. I guess in some circumstances IP can matter, but i don't think that uniq IP is a capital rule. If would been, all those people with sites hosted on shared hosts would never get ranked and everybody would had dedicated IPs.

Well the problem is crosslinking  there where different IPS and C Blocks matter ....
