I may be learning my first lesson on ghosting.
I went out on Google to see that my site name, (on a Google search)
and see most of the characters have been copied with a suffix
which results in the copycat's site going in front of mine.
How does one protect themselves from this?
Thank you in advance, Jack  Sad

Omar,
With google if I search on my site name I get the results below. It is like they grabbed the unique
name of my site and modified it so their sites would show first. Below the only thing that belongs to me
is item number 5. I believe this all showed up right after I created my new domain name Erynsite.
How does one protect against this ?
Thank you, Jack

Well.. you just believe that. As far as i can see, there are no grounds for that believe. erynsite is not quite a unique phrase, can come from a verry common name in some parts (Eryn) and a super used word (Site). Together those words could been used LOT of times long before you create your domain, on many other pages. The results you shown me looks to be years old, and in no way related with your domain content. Is some picture gallery (dated 2000, 9 years ago) and a site in spanish. I very much doubt they did anything tricky or in any way related with you..

Omar,
Appreciate you looking. I thought when I had checked previously that the sites were not there. Perhaps I keyed the name wrong or transposed a character when I checked. I guess my name was not so unique after all. Just trying to be methodical and do my Homework here. I'll try to be more careful in the future. Thanks for your assistance. Jack
