At last I have my store open
http://aleandbeer.com/shop It took a while getting used to setting it up. I had to contact Omar on a couple of things and he responded within 24hrs. So Store Stacker is still alive and I am very pleased with the results. Its a pity the forum is so DEAD. If you have a look you will notice that the Video's display embedded in my site this was one reason I contacted Omar as the new YouTube plugin does not embed the video's and the pre-view images are missing due to the way Google presents the data the old plugin was sent to me by Omar. He warned me that it is possible to get spam as the search is based on Tags and some posters spam there tags.
I did some work on the template to add some footer text and then added Google Analytics tracking to the template Bang server error 500 and no web pages displayed, contacted Omar he advised that if I add code directly to templates I must put it in side
{literal} my code {/literal} Tokens. This fixed the problem. I am sure I will find this mentioned when I read all about editing Templates etc. But did not find these Tokens listed in basic manuals.
I guess you will have to contact Omar at halfagain dot com if you want the old YouTube plugin. Maybe he will get them to put it on the download page as an alternate. You will need to clean the cache and make a new rule to get the new selection then delete the old rule and items to clean out the old.
