I am now kicking myself for having had this script for almost six months and never having done anything with it.  I have been so busy with other projects that I felt like, "wow, just don't have time to go watch tutorial videos and learn a whole new script."

Well, I can tell you that I just put up my first store, which was an addition to one of my existing sites, and it took me about six hours to:

1) learn the entire system, including viewing tutorial videos
2) go back through emails and find my license key Tongue
3) download the script and unpack it
4) create the new mysql database and install the script in a new folder
5) choose a theme and mod it, creating all new graphics
6) create a category structure of over 100 categories
7) create rules for all of those categories and fill the store with products
Cool choose featured products and put some shoutout videos in the sidebar for credibility

THAT'S INSANE!  That's a crazy short amount of time to do all of that.  I will be building storestacker stores on ALL of my unused domains, this is insane!

Anyway, after all that....here's the finished product:

StoreStacker install:  http://acousticvids.com/store
which was skinned to match my existing site:  http://acousticvids.com

That is a cool site. I am glad you like the script Smiley. If i may, you should create some static pages, with some articles maybe, give some more content to your site beside the products.

yeah, the actual site itself, which the permalink structure of my blog makes the store part of, has several thousand pages of unique content, so it should be fine.  I didn't want to distract from the main mission of the store section, which is aggregating products.

I think you should set a link to your store, from the blog. If i didn't missed anything, i couldn't find such a link.

I'm still in the middle of doing a huge re-design of my site, when I'm finished there will be lots of links. Smiley

Hi There,

I think I can use abit of tips from you.
1 - Which template did you use?
2 - I want to have videos of youtube just on the right hand side and have it showing on my site and not link back to youtube.
3 - Did you have to edit the template? which html editor did you use.

Thank you
